Layouts

A layout is a named arrangement of panels on a twelve-column grid. Presets are starting points; anything you change becomes yours and stays on this device.

Layouts are JSON. Edit one by hand, or ask Claude to write one — see docs/LAYOUTS.md.

Presets

  • Desk

    active
    preset·terminal theme·9 panels

The default terminal: wire, quote board, two charts, the plot, calendar and clocks. Dense by design.

  • Reader

    preset·paper theme·3 panels

One story, full width, with the desk's headlines and a quiet quote strip beside it. Pairs well with Paper.

  • Energy desk

    preset·terminal theme·7 panels

Gas first: TTF, JKM and Henry Hub side by side, storage fill, the energy wire and the calendar of things that move the curve.

  • Hangar

    preset·cockpit theme·6 panels

Aircraft history as a workspace: the dossier beside the long read, the air-power headlines, and the defence index for context.

  • Bridge

    preset·bridge theme·7 panels

Shipping and the dual-use edge: the Hormuz plot, freight board, transit indicators, VLCC rates and the shipping wire.

  • Pocket

    preset·glass theme·4 panels

The phone layout: wire, a short board, headlines, clocks. Three panels tall, no chrome to fight.
